Dan Toler

Ever since I was born (on January 26th, 1982, if anyone's wondering), I have loved reading. Well, all right, I couldn't read when I was born, but when I was 4, I read "The Phantom Tollbooth" on my own. When I was 8, my mother read me "The Hobbit", but after getting to about page 20 of "The Fellowship of the Ring" (book 1 in Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings"), she told me to finish it myself because she couldn't pronounce all the names. I finished the trilogy within six months. In short, as I said before, I have always loved reading.

At the age of 9, I decided to try my luck at writing, and began what I thought would be the best 900 page fantasy novel ever written. Nine months and 50 pages later, I got angry and deleted it from my computer. However, I never really stopped starting new novels, and it finally paid off. In August, 2001, I finished my first novel. As of April, 2002, I'm halfway done with the sequel. When the trilogy is finished, I plan to have it published.

Although my real passion is acting (sorry, folks), I also enjoy video games, studying history, and upgrading my computer.
